Welcome to the Garden

It is whatever you need it to be.
A Peace Garden. . .A Memorial Garden. . . A Meditation Garden

Let yourself be drawn into the spiritual center of the spiral.

The spiral is the oldest symbol of human spirituality. It has been found scratched into rocks from thousands of years ago, on every continent in the world.

We find spirals in everything from our fingerprints to the shape of the Milky Way.
. . .from magnetic fields to vast galaxies swirling in space.

We see spirals in the physical forces which shape the Earth - the tides of the ocean, the winds in the atmosphere.

Spirals can be seen in every aspect in nature, including

the DNA which make up every living thing.

Mindful Walking Exercise: Start with feet together and take a deep breath. Gently place one foot forward. . .slowly touch down the heel and then the toe, being mindful of your weight shifting from one leg and sinking into the other. As your weight begins to settle on your forward foot, lift off from your back foot to move forward. With each step, slowly, gradually empty one side of your body and fill the other. Feel the giving and receiving. . .the yin and yang. . .the ebb and flow of life in every step. Notice the texture of the rocks under your feet. . .the unevenness, the roughness, the smoothness, the cracks and cervices. Follow the path and let yourself be drawn into the spiritual center of the spiral. Breathe peace with every step.
Experience the physical forces that shape You and the Earth. . .the tides of the ocean, the winds of the atmosphere. . . The spirals of life.
